Terms of Service
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and myKRUE LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("myKRUE", "we", "us"), for your use of the myKRUE app and the services behind it. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Who can use myKRUE
You must be at least 18 years old and a parent, guardian or other adult caregiver to create an account. Children may not have accounts or use the app. You may add information about a child only if you are their parent or guardian, or have their parent's or guardian's permission.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
What myKRUE is, and is not
myKRUE helps you find youth sports, activities, and family events, keep track of them, and share plans with families you know.
- Listings can change, and can be wrong. Information about programs, events, and places comes from the organizations that run them, from their websites and listings. We show where each detail came from and when it was last checked, and we mark what we do not know. But organizations change prices, dates, times, hours, places, eligibility and availability, and they cancel or postpone things, often without notice. An outdoor event can be called off for the weather. We do not hear about every change, and we can make mistakes of our own. Nothing listed in myKRUE is guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current. Always confirm with the organization before you sign up, pay, or travel.
- A listing is not a recommendation. We do not run, inspect, endorse, or vouch for any organization, program, event, place, coach or staff member, and we do not check anyone's background or qualifications. Whether something is right and safe for your child is your decision.
- myKRUE is not affiliated with the organizations it lists, with the team apps whose calendars you can connect, or with the source of its scores. Their names belong to them.
- We do not run programs, register children, or take payments. Registration happens on the organization's own site, under its terms and its privacy policy. We are not responsible for an organization's programs, events, staff, facilities, website, or decisions.
- A match percentage, and the reasons shown with it, are our estimate of how well a program fits what you told us about your child. They do not decide who is eligible: the organization does.
- Answers from "Ask about this" are produced by AI from the information we hold. They can be incomplete or wrong, and are not professional advice.
- Distances and drive times are estimates. Directions open in your maps app, from the address we have on file; check it with the organization.
- Your team schedules come from the calendar your team's app publishes and from what you add yourself. We read each calendar about once an hour through the day, so a late change may not have reached myKRUE, and the morning schedule alert is planned on your phone from the schedule the app last loaded. Check with your coach or team app when it matters.
- High school scores come from a public source and may be late, missing or wrong.
- What other families share comes from them, not from us: who is going, counts of families, reviews, and posts. "Verified attendee" on a review means only that the family marked the program in myKRUE, not that we confirmed they signed up or went.
Your content
You are responsible for what you post: posts and photos in groups, team chats and chats with your Families, your family photo, reviews, and anything else you add. You keep ownership of it. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people it is meant for (your Families, a group, a team chat, a chat with one of your Families, or other users for reviews), and to keep the service running.
Do not post anything that:
- names or identifies a child other than in the way the app is designed for, or shares a child's school, whereabouts or photo with people who should not have them;
- shows another family's child without that child's parent being OK with it;
- is harassing, threatening, hateful, sexual, or otherwise harmful;
- is false or misleading about a program, organization, coach or family;
- is spam or advertising;
- infringes someone else's rights, or breaks the law.
Reviews should reflect your family's own experience.
Reporting and removal
myKRUE has no tolerance for objectionable content or for users who abuse others. You can report any post or review, and the family photo of a family you are connected with. What you report is hidden from you immediately and reviewed. You can also block another parent in a group or a chat: you then no longer see what they post in any group or chat or get alerts about it. They are not told, and you can undo it under Profile, More. We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or put children or families at risk.
If a post, a review or a family photo appears to break the law, we may take it down, keep a copy of it, its photo and the details of the account that posted it, and report it to the authorities. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as the law requires.
Copyright
Post only words and photos you have the right to post. If you believe something posted in myKRUE copies your work without permission, email support@mykrue.com with "Copyright" in the subject, and include:
- your name, and an address, phone number and email where we can reach you;
- the work you say was copied;
- where it is in myKRUE: the group, who posted it and when, as closely as you can;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, the owner's agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that what you have told us is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner;
- your signature. Typing your full name is enough.
We take down what a valid notice identifies and tell the person who posted it. If that was you and you believe it was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address, and we will tell you what it has to include. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly post what is not theirs to post.
If you run a program listed here
Program information in myKRUE comes from organizations' own public websites and listings. If you run a program or organization shown in myKRUE and want its listing corrected or taken down, email support@mykrue.com and we will do it.
Connecting with other families
Families connect by an invite code you choose to share, or by asking a family they are in a group or team chat with from inside the app. Your family code, and a request from inside the app, send you a request, which you accept or not; an invite you share connects whoever uses it first, once, within 7 days, and we tell you who used it. Share invites, and accept requests, only with families you know. You can remove a connection, leave a group, or block a family at any time. A group can include families you are not connected with; they see your name and what you post there, and the group is told when a family joins or leaves it. When you connect with a family, the families either of you is connected with can see that in their feed, unless either family turns it off.
Other adults in your family
You can add another parent or caregiver to your family, with a one-time code or an invitation. They sign in with their own account and see everything in your family, including your children's details. A parent can change all of it. A caregiver cannot, but can save programs and post in your groups. You are responsible for who you add: add only adults who look after your children, and give a family code only to the person it is for, because the code alone lets them join.
If you join another family while you have one of your own, you leave yours, and if you were its only adult it is deleted. The app tells you what will come with you and what will be removed before you decide.
Team calendars
When you connect a team calendar, you confirm you are entitled to view it. We read it to show your schedule and keep its link private. Anyone who connects the same team's calendar joins that team's chat, so pass a calendar link only to families on the team.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we send them for what you have turned on in Notification settings. You can turn them off at any time. A reminder is a convenience: one can be late or not arrive, and a deadline can move. Do not rely on a reminder alone for a sign-up deadline.
Feedback
If you send us an idea or a suggestion, we may use it to improve myKRUE without owing you anything for it.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, More, Delete account). We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after your account ends.
Disclaimers
myKRUE is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including about the accuracy, completeness or availability of program and event information, match scores, scores, schedules, reminders or AI answers, about any organization, program, event or place listed, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost registrations, missed deadlines, fees, travel costs, or a program or event that changed or was cancelled, arising from your use of myKRUE or reliance on information in it. We are not liable for what an organization, another user, or anyone else does or fails to do. Our total liability for any claim relating to myKRUE is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (currently nothing) or $50.
Changes to myKRUE and these terms
We may change or stop features. If we change these terms, we will update the date above and tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect. Continuing to use myKRUE after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, unless the law requires otherwise.
Apple
If you use myKRUE on an Apple device: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
